Morning Worship:
It's sad but true that memorizing Scripture is a rare practice among Christians today. The joy of hiding God's Word in our hearts seems to be a lost blessing among many adult Christians in our day and age. We urge young people to memorize Scripture, but fail to do so ourselves. The truth of Psalm 119:10-11 seems to have escaped us, "I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."
Michael Ginn of "From the Word Ministries" will be bringing the message this Sunday morning as a part of AWANA Sunday. Michael's unique and passionate voicing of memorized Scripture makes the Word come alive for listeners. He will be reciting the Book of Ecclesiastes from memory during the Message Time. Invite your family and friends to join us for AWANA Sunday.
